Q: You’ve been with Qualcomm for over 20 years. How has your experience prepared you for your new role as CEO?
A: Yes, I have been with Qualcomm for over 20 years, and during that time, I have had the opportunity to work with many talented individuals across various departments. I started as an engineer, then I moved to market, then to business development, and then to the executive team. Each of these roles has helped me to develop a broad understanding of the company’s products, services, and markets. This experience has prepared me well for my new role as CEO.

A: My vision for Qualcomm is to continue to be a leader in the semiconductor industry by driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge technology. We have a tremendous opportunity to play a significant role in shaping the future of the tech industry by developing new products and services that will change the way people live, work and connect with each other. As we enter the 5G era, we have an unprecedented opportunity to create new use cases and applications that will transform industries and drive economic growth.
Q: Qualcomm has faced several legal challenges in recent years, including antitrust allegations and patent disputes. How do you plan to address these challenges?
A: Qualcomm has always been committed to fair and open competition, and we will continue to defend ourselves against any allegations of wrongdoing. We have a strong track record of successfully navigating legal challenges, and we are confident that we will continue to do so in the future. At the same time, we are always open to resolving disputes through negotiation and collaboration, and we will continue to work towards achieving positive outcomes for all parties involved.
Q: What are some of the biggest challenges facing the tech industry today?
A: There are several significant challenges facing the tech industry today. One of the biggest is the need to ensure that technology is developed and deployed in a way that is responsible and ethical.
